A talk on Suffragettes / Suffragists

A very interesting talk last night by Andrew Finch on Suffragettes and Suffragists. We were also delighted to welcome two visitors; Elisabetta Alborghetti from the Rotary Club of Milano-Precotto/San Michele, district 2041 and Yogesh Shah a Roteractor from Mumbai who is currently studying for his Master’s degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Our president Mansel Thomas also joined the meeting by video conference from Portugal where he is on holiday.

Presentation to Parkinson’s UK

Last night we were delighted to welcome Bethan Palfrey of Parkinson’s UK to our meeting. Martin Edwards presented Bethan with a cheque for £1,000. Parkinson’s UK was Martin’s nominated charity last year when he was President.
